Janette Anastasia (Anastasia Family Music Studio)

Janette Anastasia provides private music lessons in Voice, Piano, Musicianship, and Music Theory. Music for younger children will combine piano, musicianship games, solfegge, rhythm instruments, and songs in order to establish solid musical foundations as well as to develop a love for music. Piano instruction aims for proficiency, and will include ear training, sight-reading, basic accompaniment, technical instruction, and musicality based on repertoire. Voice instruction will focus on vocal confidence, vocal freedom, and increased range using proper breath flow, registration, and tone production in order to foster stylistic flexibility using age-appropriate vocal technique. Repertoire Coaching for Folk songs, Pop, Art Song, Musical Theater and Opera is available. Also available: coaching in foreign language diction (Latin, Spanish, Italian, German, & French), performance technique, audition etiquette, acting/character building, and general stage presence. I will work with you to create a tailored plan based on your student's needs.
