Ventura Land Trust (Ventura Wild)

Ventura Wild provides nature connection programs for youth age 5 - 12 in Ventura and Ojai. Children are immersed in nature to gain awareness, knowledge, self reliance and social skills through investigation and play. Curriculum is designed with a focus on ecological literacy, social emotional skills and Next Generation Science Standards. We play games, hold council circles, explore and deepen our connections to self, others and nature. Staff are experienced environmental educators, with years of skills and knowledge in bringing kids and nature together through activities, stories and songs.
