Ava Dakos (Dakos Dynamic Tutoring)

Hi, I'm Ava, and your student and I will be a dynamic duo when we're talking about math! My passion is making foundational math concepts truly make sense to all kinds of kids. With an extremely flexible and personalized approach, your student will come to find that math can be satisfyingly challenging and fun! My goals as a tutor are to find fresh perspectives on even the most common topics, make each and every student I encounter feel understood, confident, and smart (as they very well should!), and go back and thoroughly fill in the gaps so that your student builds a strong math foundation. I offer one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions for students in grades K-7 over Zoom. Each one-hour session will meet your student exactly where they are and build off of what they already know, all while using simple, realistic language. We can go over your current math curriculum, or I can create a customized lesson plan tailored to your student's specific needs. First sessions with me are always free!
