Fiona Nelson (Fiona's Fun Learning)

Learning should be Fun! My philosophy is that if students enjoy the lessons, they will learn faster and be eager to learn more. My lessons are always tailored to each individual’s capabilities and learning style. I have a number of students with special needs. I consider myself a coach, helping students to explore the exciting world of learning. Lessons are designed so that the student progresses in incremental steps which are easy to master. This leads to success. Being successful is such a thrill, and accomplishment boosts confidence. This steers the way, and motivates, to progress and improve. I have been teaching students of all ages and abilities in the Tehachapi area for a number of years. In particular, I have many Heartland students which I taught at Slice of Life Enrichment School, and I would like to continue the adventure of learning with those students.
