Sarah Neethling Piano and Tuturoing

I am an experienced and credentialed teacher (18 years experience) providing an enthusiastic and creative learning environment for students to learn piano, art or be tutored in school subjects. I also can provide creative enrichment lessons for example creative writing, or poetry. Piano: I offer piano, music theory and beginner voice lessons. Classically trained in London, I love finding out what music inspires my students. I can teach reading sheet music and also reading chord progressions for those who would like to play with bands or jam to their favorite artist. I focus on a strong rhythmic foundation, musical playing and the technical skills that will allow students to progress to more advanced playing. I love to find creative ways to motivate my students and have experience working with many different kinds of students. Tutoring: I am a credentialed and experienced Language Arts teacher and have taught every age from Kindergarten through 12th grade. I can help with struggling readers, writing composition, literary analysis, phonics or any other aspect of English. I also teach and tutor math K-9th grade and particularly been able to help those who are struggling to manage grade level work become more confident.
