Morro Bay Art Association (Art Center Morro Bay)

smARTkids is a youth arts education program offered through Art Center Morro Bay, created to make quality visual arts experiences more accessible to families and homeschool groups within our community. As part of the Morro Bay Art Association's nonprofit mission, the program provides opportunities for young people to explore, create, and grow through meaningful art-making experiences. The smARTkids program strives to: * Create a welcoming and inclusive arts community for children and families. * Foster curiosity, self-expression, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts. * Introduce students to diverse artistic processes and mediums, artists, cultures, and art history. * Build confidence through creative exploration while recognizing that mistakes are a valuable part of learning and artistic discovery.
